When a house sits on a foundation or stands it is very stable. When
removed from the foundation it becomes very fragile and the results can vary,
sometimes damage may occur.
Common
problems are, interior and exterior cracking, wall panels working loose, floors
may buckle. In some cases windows may break and also other damage may occur.
Usually after resetting the home and re-leveling most stress and pressure
on the structure is relieved, but the some damage may need be repaired.
Keep in mind after the home is on wheels it is now trailer, being towed
down rough roads.
The weight of the complete home is carried on two points. The
axles and hitch. This causes a lot of stress and flexing on the mobile home.
Be sure to remove all valuables from you home.
I have
read the above information concerning my home during transporting and the
possibility of thief and vandalism during the construction period, I will not
